The Song of The Mother
by Ravensdarksides
Age Group: Adult
The Mother can be heard in the whistle of the wind.
Though none have truly listened
for over two thousand years.
The Voice that blows gently
upon the winds has awakened
the hearts of her children.
They move to the future,
where one day Her laughter will be heard,
not only in the wind, but in the waters of the sea,
in the mountains of the earth,
and through the cackling of the Flame.
She will be heard!
Awaken she calls!
AWAKEN!
Author's Notes: This was written after having seen the first half of the made for TV movie, "Mists of Avalon"
