Ode to My Brother

Ode To My Brother
Dedicated to one who will always be loved:
John Micheal Ward
March 17, 1989- February 13, 1992
Brother I really miss you,
And all the times we could've shared.
But my memories I have will do,
And I know you've always cared.
I wish you were here with me,
Always by my side.
But I know that will never be,
For you were called away to abide.
In a special place up above,
Where angels sing and there's streets of gold.
I want to send you all my love,
And show you I'm trying to be strong and bold.
But it's hard when you're not around,
To see you everyday.
I can't ever seem to smile, it's always upside down,
Although I can hold my head up and say,
That you're the best brother,
A sister could have ever.
You're .. 1 in my heart, there's no other,
That can ever take your place never.
I'm writing this to you in memory,
So that you can live on in my lines.
And in hopes one day I will see,
Your face again in life one more time.
