The Call of the Moon

Age Group: Adult
Listen to the moon as she calls to thee,
Wishing you to come and be free,
To run from the city, whose lights burn like fire,
To come and listen to your inner desire,
She whispers to you from above,
She speaks to you, in nurture and in love,
As she speaks, she asks of thee,
'Why Don't you come and be free,
To be as free as the wolves, to run through the trees,
With nothing to hold onto but the beautiful breeze,
If you ever head her call, to follow her light,
will you run with her through the bright beautiful night?
Author's Notes: Note this is my first poem ever made. It might not be the best I've ever written, but it'll depend on the reader.
this poem was based on the beauties of mother nature.
