I am the Goddess

Age Group: Adult
I am a Child born in May
Forever young and free
Always willing to fly
I am She who will never die
I am the Mother, the rich full moon
And every flower in bloom
I care for children and bring the harvest
My task by far the hardest
I am the Crone, old and wise
Yet still Maid and Mother in disguise
When the time comes take my hand
I will lead you to the Summerland
I am the Warrior who rides to war
I defend my own forever more
Harm the helpless and feel my wrath
When you face me o’er the Gates of Death
I am the Judge who stands and listens
Who makes the hard decisions
I get no thanks and hold no malice
And I keep the sacred Balance
I am all of these and more
I hold the key to every door
All that exists ‘tween earth and sky
And the answer to every why
Author's Notes: I wrote this poem about (some of) the different aspects of the Goddess. I hope you enjoy it, and feel free to send me any comments.
