What We Must All Face

A mix of emotions passthrough my heart,
As I feel myself fall apart,
My soul is weeping as I stare at where he rests,
I try to face the ultimate test,
As we all must face death before our eyes,
And hear the sorrowful mortal cries,
Of a family brought together, for the death of a loved one,
A crying widow, a fatherless son,
Tis something we must all face one day,
As we watch one of our loved ones pass away.
Author's Notes: This poem was inspired by the passing of my grandfather.
