Astral Traveler

Astral traveler won't you stay a while,
Stay a while and listen
Listen to the bird's sweet song
And see the teardrops sparkle, glisten
Listen to the sweet rain fall
Outside your window, high and mighty
See how the moon it sparkles brightly
Won't you stall awhile
Your travels there
And for a moment bare
Witness to life's beauty
It's rise and fall
The lover's call
The funeral's pall
God is a part of it all
Strength is good
And love is key
It's the wonder of humanity
We are one through love, you see
My traveler to other planes
You must, you must, you MUST remain
Come to know that love
To revel in its loving nature
And see its spring time blossom
The colors good and bright and pure
I love that tree from top to bottom
Couldn't you live beneath its shade?
Couldn't that be your accomplishment made?
Great forces are pulling you
Towards the Great Abyss
But how can you go
When there's all this to miss?
It's up to you,
What will you do?
When the forces begin to move,
Will you leave us again,
on a pathway to the end
With a destination in the stars?
It's a very lonely place,
Out there on Mars
Author's Notes: This is another one that I feel that the Gods of inspiration were speaking through me, to me. In other words, though it seems like I'm talking to someone, or pleading rather, it is actually myself that is the subject of the listing. It's as if during my writing I stepped outside myself and someone else used my hand to write a personal message to me. For the other one see "Of Worlds, the Will, and the Way."
