I have nobody waiting to touch to hold to want to be with me
I have nothing to offer so I guess that is the way these things should be
Whatever have I had in life except my words and possibly my dreams
When money's what defines one's worth within this world or so to me it seems
Perhaps I shouldn't worry my lot in life down to the weary bone
But more strongly do I fear when I die I will truly be alone
I have nobody waiting to be there for whatever I achieve
And wonder if I even have anyone who at my death will grieve.
