If things are meant to die
Then why do you hold on to them so?
If everything were to die right this minute
Would you cry broken glass
As your world crashes down on you?
Do you think that I live just to die?
So that I can hear your step-by-step omniscience
Of why I speak in cryptic phrases
Of why I speak in open-minded conversations
Of why I'm so diverse
Of why I'm so charming
Would you walk all over me too?
If the road you traipse, latently ends at a fall-off
Do you pray?
Do you scream?
Do you think?
Whatever you do, you mustn't panic
And you know why??
Because love humiliates you
And hate cradles you
It's soothing
It'll ease you
Comfort you
Free you
And love you
Imagine where you'd be without "the real".
