Take a Journey
by Isis of Nefer-Per-Netjer

We'll take a journey, you and I
To a land of fantasy.
Where all the wonders that you seek,
Will be shown to thee.
Open your mind to Magick realms
Where it takes more than eyes to see.
It's here your greatest power dwells
So open your mind for me.
We'll travel to this hidden place
Where mighty dragons fly.
You'll see where the unicorns graze
And where fairies flutter by.
To reach this land you will need
To walk along this path with me.
Now, if you're ready, we'll begin
A journey that need never end.
Before you appears a golden road
That winds through flowers and trees.
You listen to croaking toads
And feel a gentle breeze.
The air carries a sweet perfume
Of rosemary, mint and thyme,
The birds sing a merry tune
As you walk along in time.
Into a thick mist the road fades
And what you seek it hides,
The mist feels damp upon your face
As you will the veil aside.
You clear the mist, your eyes behold
Purple mountains rising high.
A large village nests below
And a castle rides the sky.
There's a feeling of welcome here
In warm sumshine and perfumed air,
Is this perhaps a place you've seen
Long ago in childhood dreams?
It's a realm of Knights and Ladies Fair
Of Elves and Fairy kings.
A place where magick isn't rare
It's a common sort of thing.
Into the village you stroll,
You gather in the square.
Now call out to the magick folk
"Who will answer fair?"
Look into the crowd gathered there
Look out and wait to see
Who will answer questions fair
They will beckon to thee.
Go, sit by their side in the shade,
Listen as they sing their songs.
All around you starts to fade
As you follow the words along.
Is it past lives the words reveal?
Or, maybe, lives yet to be.
Do you seek a love that is real
Or do you seek inner peace?
Sit awhile, then rise to leave
Thank your guide for their time.
They ask you if their song revealed
What you came seeking to find?
Without waiting for your reply
With a wink and a smile,
The say "Come back anytime,
And we will talk awhile."
Out of the village now you go,
Back down the golden road.
Push through the cool damp mist again
Open your eyes....This journey ends.
