Samhain Prayer

Mother-- Father--
Here is Your Child, here before You in the fullness of Time, in the growing of the Dark of the Year.
I thank You in humbleness for the Seasons and their Turning, for the Cycle and the Harvest. I thank you in humbleness for the Lessons of this Cycle. If I have not taken them so well-- and I know that I have not--- remember that I am only a human, and still not so good at seeing through Pain.
Give us the Shelter of Your Hands as the Cycle turns to the Sleeping Time. Give us the Guidance of Your Hands as we turn our eyes inward. Give us the Love of Your Hands as we walk on our Ways, faltering as our steps may be.
Guide me now in contemplation, that I might realize the fullness of all you have tried to Teach me in this Year, and hold it well in my soul to inform my steps on the Way ahead.
So may it be. Amen.
