Holy Halloween

Age Group: Adult
Loved ones gathered on Hallows eve,
In living room of a trailer.
To celebrate the ancient Rite,
With modest and humble flavor.
Altar was a coffee table,
Decorated with pride.
With statues, stones, a turtle shell,
From which they could provide.
From the family Book of Shadows,
The passages were read.
The old canticles, they did sing,
On this night of the dead.
The ancestors were honored,
Within this small abode.
Communion with the Old Gods,
The wealth that was bestowed.
Their love for one another,
Is the only condition.
Whenever circle is cast,
In this family tradition.
