The Tiny Dragon

THE TINY DRAGON
Now, Close your eyes
And come with me
We’re to a hidden time.
If still we are, there we’ll see
Within this fairy realm,
A little one newly born
Brought to life through witch’s dreams.
With every spell they cast
And every tale they told
A scale began to grow
A candle is lit
And incense is burned
And tiny wings unfold.
SHHH!! Now stay Thee still
Speak Thee not a word
HE is coming out to see
This tiny babe, which magick made
He is the Fairy King.
With arms afold and wise old eyes
He looked upon the babe.
“Yes, she is magick born, she is magic made, ”
The fairy King assured.
“She is here to guide the power
she is here to save our world.
Once, in a long ago age,
her story was foretold
There would be a tiny dragon
And, What power she would hold.
So let all witches sing
Let their music flow
For when they raise their power
the tiny dragon grows.
Let's be of aide to the witches,
guide them forevermore
For belief in Dragon Magick
is part of Witch’s lore
So be of aide, my fairy folk
you guide them when you can
Then soon we’ll see the Tiny Dragon
Fly across the land
Author's Notes: I love the idea of benevolent dragons, dont' you?
I've heard it said that dragons house the magick of the world within their wings.
