Sad Little Nursery Rhyme (of sorts)

Run away, run away
We shall play another day
When clouds return and skies are gray
Untouched by every tainted ray
Of fake happy, forced to rise
Behind your somber, sleepy disguise
No, lay thee to rest if ye be wise
Sleep an honest sleep that tells no more lies
But do not submit to sadness that consumes
To evenings of rain and unending glooms
But for each bud that in your name blooms
More bittersweet memories are exhumed
I weep for this unending rest
I tried so long and did my best
To forget smile so blessed
Yet still, these tortured thoughts infest.
Author's Notes: By no means do I encourage you to read this to any children. They'd be confused and/or spooked. XD I wrote this after taking a little nature hike on Mt Lemmon and a conversation with a certain someone and I felt inspired... um... yeah.
