A society based on things is doomed to be discarded.
When people are more interested in what you wear than what you feel, we are sentenced to isolation.
When what we own becomes more valuable than what we think than we become worthless.
We adorn our bodies with jewelry and art in order to be seen as valuable and to fit in, to be one of the acceptable.
Things that use to define us as individuals, now make us part of the whole.
Spirituality is lost to possessions; the Divine is on TV and not in our hearts.
People have been devalued by what they value most.
