You said we'd be together Forever. Well what time is it now? Is it forever already. It feels like an eternity in darkness without your light. Like a lifetime without the sun.
You pulled me from the Pit only to strand me on the Precipise. You knew I would fall without you.
The moon wept tears for us, and the stars shone like the diamonds in your eyes. Frozen ice crystals, sparkling only for me.
Your little white lies, grew big, dark and ugly, like the shadows in the late afternoon. I turned the other cheek, prepared to forgive. You turned the other way.
I wish you were back home, I scream as my lungs fill with blood. The flaming wreckage of my heart is left in a pile where you left it. The mangled remnants of my soul are stained broken beyond repair.
ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!! I AM MISERABLE WITHOUT YOU!! DOES THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY!!! My voice cracks as my vocal cords snap. I have been screaming since you left, but now my pain will be silent.
Men are dying all over the world, and I lie here. Dying inside. I am another victim. Another one of the endless casualties. We found the Weapon of Mass Destruction. It is in the hands of those we trust the most.
It is called love.
Author's Notes: This is an original composition, slightly darker than my normal works. As always Negative comments are not appreciated and will be ignored.
