She Watches

by Gwydion Ap Alder

Age Group: Adult

O’er our heads She watches, Her gossamer white glow lending its hue to the forest bathing it in silver radiance while the vibrating stillness echoes with Her sweet music.

Hekate, Silver Goddess of the Moon, Maiden, Mother, and Crone, Three fold Goddess giver of Magicks and deep knowledge!

Goddess’s begotten, Cauldron born, we dance amidst the raging storm
Distant times and ancient lands, they’ve legacies we understand
From Summerland once more we’ve come, to dance the dance, to drum our drums.
This spiral dance we know so well, believe we not in Christian’s hell.
The song we sing though ancient be, it still has meaning deep for we,
To celebrate this wondrous Earth, the fertile Mother of our birth.
We strive to teach our fellow man, that we do not possess this land
Earth is life and home to all, where will ye go if She doth fall?
In greed and blindness do they reap, for what they take they cannot keep.
For lives are short, the ages long, and to this Earth they do belong
Forgotten is their Mother’s love, as they grunt and push and shove
To gain advantage, make a killing, sad there are so many willing
To kill and steal and to destroy, for things they never will enjoy,
For evil deeds doth evil bring, and evil heart will never sing.
The things they do to them return, a threefold curse that they well earn.
With prayer and magicks oft invoked, to heal the Earth of evil’s stroke
We work as Moon She does grow full, our hearts within the Goddess’ pull.
High on hill alone we stand, as Radiant Moon, She bathes the land
We chant and sing our sacred Rune, with ancient rhythm, mystic tune
Oh Goddess hear our chant, draw near, and heal this earth we hold so dear!
May Harmony Find one and All, or else we may see mankind’s fall
Love is the rule and love is the bond, so to our call let them respond!
