Tears Beloved

Hidden in mystery,
My secrets of thought.
My heart yearns,
For what it has not.
Frozen in time,
Memories of past.
Loved once had,
That would not last.
Tears flow on rivers of rain,
Why does the heart feel so much pain?
Why does the spirit scream out for release?
Why does the mind demand such peace?
Beds of silk,
And lily’s lace.
A loving heart,
Given to embrace.
A fire burns intently,
Passions of romance.
Yet arms held open,
With no one to dance.
Where is my light,
That soul sweeping dove.
Where is my beloved,
My beauty my love?
