Please Don't Delay

Why did you leave me
When I needed you the most,
I know it was you duty
To conquer the world.
We were destined to be together
And to be free,
With out you my Love
I cannot be.
My heart is asking
Why so much pain,
What should I answer
To just remain?
You said you'd be back
In a year or two,
But till then Honey
What should I do?
Here I am writing poems
That make no sense,
But my love for you Darling
Is oh, so intense.
Baby I Love You
But please don't delay,
My heart is aching
Don't let it die away.
