Good-bye Daddy!

I still remember
When you held me tight in your arms.
You called me your Princess,
And promised I'd never be harmed.
In a matter of minutes
You changed your mind,
And I was replaced,
with a bottle of wine.
Why Daddy? Why?
I was only six,
But it didn't matter
I still cleaned your piss.
Your sight frightened me,
I wanted to run.
But I remembered that promise,
That we would have fun.
You knew you had hurt me,
You saw the blood.
But you didn't care
You wanted more Captain Morgan
Your favorite rum.
The screams of my mother
Are still in my head,
When you would seduce her,
Just to get laid.
I hate you Daddy,
Oh yeah so much!
Here is your Courvoisier,
I bought you a bunch.
Go kiss you bottle,
Go wish it good night.
It might get frightened,
So don't turn off the light.
Is it Jack Daniels you want,
Or maybe some Jim Beam.
Just one favor,
Please don't scream!
There are bottles of Vodka
Laying everywere.
Remember that night, Daddy,
When you went insane?
My Momma too,
Why did she stay?
Did she think you'd get better,
If she would pray?
Don't repent now Daddy,
That wont work with me.
Let me live my life,
And you, Blessed Be!
I promise I wont follow your pattern,
Just let me be.
I don't want to hear your voice,
Stay away form Me!!!!!
Good-Bye Daddy,
See ya in hell.
No matter what happened,
I wish you well.
I kissed your promise good-bye,
So don't worry about that.
I know I'm not your Princess,
Lets just leave it at that.
Author's Notes: This poem is dedicated to my mothers husband, of course, even though he will never read it. Yeah, I think I still hate him!!!
