The Moon is Our Anchor

The moon is my mother, my anchor,
She loves all and for this I thank her.
She is the mother Goddess, watching us, protecting us...
I kneel in front of her, arms in the air...
I am a witch, a blessed heir.
She watches me, smiling,
As I dance in her pale, pearly white light.
Power is blooming like a flower in my breast...
I know that this is her will, her silent, loving carress.
As I sing my words of love and devotion,
I feel a conection even stronger than the pacific ocean.
Candles flicker, and Incense smolders...
Rain is soon to come.
Wind is blowing, making my long hair whip my face.
My skyclad body feeling the moon's embrace.
And then I see her,
She's not more visbile than a shimmer.
Her arms are wide, her face is open,
Her will is fierce...
My heart the power in eyes shall peirce.
She smolders like fire, she brings desire...
She walks like water, so smooth and delicate.
She dances like air, a floating ballet, her swirling hair...
She is strong like earth, she represents home and hearth.
And then she's gone, within half a minute.
She had just been there, her face sure and serene...
I look up at the moon, who smiles...and then I know...
Laughing as I dance, I know it t'was not a dream.
I look up, grounding myself....andd I grin.
The Moon is our anchor, she achors us within.
