Transcending Autumn :o)

Summers’ heat wanes to the diminishing sun
So ebbs our outdoor frolicking and fun.
These moments of relief ponder the mind to anticipate the foreseeable
Cool weather, warm fires, slowing the pace…to me these are agreeable.
With patience and anticipation I sense that pinnacle moment
Air chills, wind blows, the aroma of autumn…all verve becomes silent
Nature transcends death in one last flurry of colorful brilliance
Leaves fall, rain drops, fires glow…herein rests life’s true reverence
Author's Notes: I was contemplating the changes of seasons and thought of Autumn and what I look for in that seasonal change.
