Halloween 2006

In the twilight hour, many laughing children dressed in colorful disguise
Gobblins, Ghouls, Superheros & even Gandolf the Wise
Scamper hither and there spreading their banterous cheer of "Trick or Treat"
Lest Ye want mischief, please give them a handful of sweets!
Their bags bulging with Pirates treasured booty;
Chocolate Coins & lollypops so crunchy & fruity
Their merryment grows silent and still as the night wanes
except for the the howling wind and rattling of gated chains
The midnight owl hoots and the Jack-o-lanterns have all but burned out
So come Now, All Ye Real Witches; let's cackle to the moon & fly about!
Author's Notes: Inspired by the mystical & magical time of Halloween and my children of course.
