couldn' t come up with a title

Age Group: Adult
Spread your wings,
Fly away.
Don't look back,
Our filthy way.
Goddess sent you,
But you were dead.
I think Earth is too perverted,
So go back to her instead.
I held you in my arms,
I promised not to cry.
I asked Goddess,
"Why did he have to die?"
There was no response,
Only agony in my heart.
But you whispered to my ear,
"Everything'll be fine."
A year ago exactly,
I had you here with me.
Now I have to go to a cemetery,
Oh with out you I cannot be.
Good bye little Angel,
You rushed into the world.
I’m cherishing anxiously,
The day when I will mold.
When that day comes,
We can both run free.
And every day for us
Will be like early spring.
Out there you wont be ill,
You won’t have to go through pain.
We will sit on the pavement
And dance with the sun and rain.
I hope you’re having fun,
I heard a lot like you are gone.
I feel sorry for this lady next to me
She won’t be with her little one.
I think I’ll end this here now
I feel I’m going to cry.
I will be with you soon,
And don’t think that’s a lie.
Author's Notes: This poem was written on 14 June 2006. I finished it today while thinking of my nephew which died a year ago that day. It was a devastating day for all of us. R.I.P. Angel Alquimidez Corzo 14 June 2005. You will always be in my heart.
