love...or obsession

i loved you first.
and you say i'm obsessed.
you were the one who hung all over me.
you were the one who begged for kisses.
i gave myself to you willingly.
i loved you, and still do.
but you only wanted me for one thing, and i would not give it to you.
so you pushed me away.
left me cold and alone.
you told me you don't believe in love.
but i think that you have never had anyone love you.
you are scared to let someone in.
i loved you, you were the first boy i ever loved.
i will always love you.
but you lost out when you pushed me away.
i am a strong woman; i will not be treated so mean.
you called me named and pushed me around.
and when you come crawling back, begging for forgiveness, i will give it to you.
but i'm taking my heart back.
it doesn't belong to you anyone.
it's mine.
Author's Notes: my boyfriend only wanted me for sex. i would not give up my virginity. he got mad, called me names, and left me. he tried to get back with me but i told him no. i will not be treated with such disrespect. i will not be treated like a whore. he can find someone else. i did fall in love with him, and it breaks my heart that he was so mean. but, that's the way some men are, i guess.
