I was Young

I remember the nights when I was young,
When the breezes swept my hair,
When I used to sing and dance without a care,
When I had no responsibilities, not a care,
I remember that as I grew older,
I lost what I knew, I lost my innocent view,
I remember that when I got older, I was bolder,
I lost what I knew, but I learned more instead,
It was that when I was young,
I'd believe and it'd be true,
I stuck out out from whom I was among,
I knew I wanted to stay young too.
Author's Notes: I'm sitting at my friend's computer in Wales, at their wedding, and I entered a light meditation, and this is what came of it.
