Enchanting onyx
Set to gaze,
Deep within do I feel embraced.
Huntress of the spirit,
tread lightly through my glade.
Feel for the streambed of inspiration
Lying in wait.
Know every tree, know every
Budding flower.
Talk with the ancient ones.
Consumate with the Spirit of Place,
Invoked are you,
Consort of Herne.
Goddess of immutable power,
Of thee
Am I blessed in turn.
Author's Notes: These words came as a result of a look into the eyes of a friend (enchanting onyx) . Their darkness reaches within and holds an embrace.
