Asterflu

I held your hand once
(Or was it but a dream?)
Whispering sweet curses
‘Gainst the unfurling seam
Tracing the starlit skies
Where Heroes of ancient ages
In whose glowing memoriam lies
Renowned, sung of sages
A flash! A burst! Of fiery streak
Eyes averted, yet heart doth seek
Of kindred to the silver’d stars
Yearning to those forgot afar
Placed upon Heavens, circling the wreath
In milky grottos, foregoing the grief
Shining trails of wanderlust
Glimmers of the starry dust
Pinpricks through Nuit’s blackness
And coiled luminescent tresses
Autumn falling celestial streams
As I fall under lucid spun dreams
A kiss, a touch, a brush against
Your rain soaked violence
Flood my heart with ancient ways
I call to You anon fevered days
Love! What Love I must now endure
My Favor, my Goddess, I implore
Not much am I under these star flecked skies
And why I continue I can but surmise
A Call? A Wish? I fall apart
Thrice stroked this fervent heart
Eyes shining under the Morning Star
Fallen and Risen to what we are.
