Sumer Storms

Exhausted I lie reposed
Under flecks dancing star dusts
Widened to open path’d eyes
Remnants of trailed beginnings
Hard to inscribe this seemingness
The Lifeblood of Magick required
For any Dance of Spell or Glamour
Of body essence or divine construct
Who amongst You are ready to Dance
With the Dust and pull the Fire from the Heavens?
This spotted snake rises in stellar wells
Kissing my lips beneath ancient fetishes
A Fool to bow before the Mother
What has your forgetful child wrought?
Mind stuffed Arte and sloppy sciences
Such cleverness when We learned to forget
That spun stuffs of horizons silvered
Creations believed and then forgotten
Who believes when the child is caught?
With a hand within the spinning of creation
A slow spin now of massive nothingness
Losing touch hour by hour
A glance, a sip to the wave crested Serpent
With Eyes to draw the soul thread complete
Depart ye Kin to the fog shrouded mountains
In hollowed hills and crystal caves
Await the Call of the witch’d shofar
And cool yourselves in the Garden glade
Once, twice, thrice, the Dance ensues
With Sabbatic essence unfurled
Fire danced kohl’d eyes staring
Across sweat glimmered encirclement
Then bided to the Winds
Arised and taken across the lands
Midnight Suns and Peacock Kiss
I Fall beneath the shifting sands
Dreamed yet slowly and precise
The October rains gave advice
Of worlds yet hidden from my view
The Gorgon’s Mask deathly cruel
So relaxed amongst the Perseids
Mind trails spiraled fallen lids
And soft creep the fairy dew
My life, my love, fallen new
