Dance of Death

Life can only be true if you believe death is a lie.
But you can only live in the white if death can be blue.
What would you think of if you were about to die.
If you had to spend all your time alone, would you want to cry?
What if you were never alone, would you feel as if life were true?
Life can only be true if you believe death is a lie.
But if dying was the beginning, it would make you want to try
to break through the blue that you are staring through.
What would you think of if you were about to die?
Would you think everyone was trying to pry
into the business that no one knows but you?
Life can only be true if you believe death is a lie.
Except no one know the thoughts behind your eyes.
Because what if breaking through the blue introduces something new?
What would you think of if you were about to die?
You would think that dying is saying good bye,
but really, living is just death's little clue.
Life can only be true if you believe death is a lie,
What would you think of if you were about to die?
Author's Notes: This is a Villanelle, Its a little rusty but its my first one. Im a sophomore in high school and we just learned this repeating format in my creative writing class.
