Enchanted Dream
by DD Dionysus
Age Group: Adult
Through the mists of enchantment I gaze in my dream
At a spark in the darkness, a flickering gleam.
A lady emerges, still vague in the shadows.
She radiates warmth, and the softness of pillows.
She holds out her hand and I reach for her touch.
I'm drawn to her energy that attracts me so much.
I'd love to come closer, and feel her embrace.
But a flash of uncertainty dampens my pace.
If power so strong comes from just touching hands
We must have respect for the ways it expands.
She says not a word, but her spiritual song
Sings to my soul as she helps it grow strong.
As giver and muse she's done so much when needed.
But her own dreams and wishes must also be heeded.
Rewards from the Goddess are now hers to receive.
There are so many blessings it's hard to believe.
Her soul has been blessed with a radiant light.
To inspire with guidance towards the path which is right.
But presently she's mysterious with secrets forbidden.
A friendship is building, yet for now remains hidden.
I savor this dream and I wish it could last.
But the vision is waning, and soon will be past.
I’ve now seen our Goddess, and I’ll see her again,
But I wonder what realm, in what manner, and when.
