Dance of Creation

In silent stillness all that is not yet
Waits with ferent anticipation
For the music to begin;
Waits to be.
No sound, no sight, nothing still--
Nothing yet: all waiting to be.
Only stillness;
Nothing still.
No time: no motion; all is still.
All nothing is still, waiting to be:
Waiting for motion--
Waiting for Her.
Then in the dark She is all that is.
She is the mover, movement, and the movied,
And all that was not yet is now,
And She is all of it,
For all that is is movement
And all movement is Her dance.
She moves, a barefoot goddess
Pounding out the music of her cosmic dance.
Her music is Herself--
Alone accompaniment,
All things and yet all one;
A multitudinous mistress of naught but Herself.
The dance goes on by itself.
Maiden's perpetual motion
Spins Her in Her circumference;
All alone.
She who is all that is seeks another.
She seeks another who is not:
All is. She is.
Nothing is not.
Then in the light he is and is not her:
The are all that is and is not
And She is the mover, movement, and the moved.
All flows to Him and back to Her:
Is not; not yet; now is--
To and from him--a coquette and Her consort.
God from Goddess and a part of Her,
Divinity reflected in new form.
He outside shows what dwells deep,
What permeates
He Her Self made whole.
And in Her image,
He is She, She He.
The Twins, One Whole.
No Law but Their Love
Of Themself.
And from Their Love
Is All. All is.
All is They. They are All.
Nothing is not.
