Wheel Of Life

by Keyokwee

Age Group: Adult

Goddess cast the web of Spider
Cast it further, deeper, wider;
Till all of God’s light was inside her
Full and bright.
She held him safely there inside.
In her soft womb he reside,
Till the season of Yule-tide
When Dark birthed Light.
God’s light is shining, brightly burning.
With his birth, the cycle turning,
New year full of lessons learning
On Wheel of Life.
Goddess smiles and softly singing
Feeds her son, while bells are ringing,
Sings of promises he’s bringing
She knows it’s right.
Winter snows, and cold wind blowing;
Young God’s body quickly growing.
Candles in the windows glowing;
In Hearth and Home.
Goddess light’s the Imbolc fire
Each candle flame is Sun inspired;
Futures cast–knowledge desired;
See the unknown.
Goddess bathes in verdant fields of green
As God now youthful Greenman sing;
Of mysteries Ostara brings;
Three Aspects shown.
Maiden comes forth from the Mother
Ready for her young God lover;
Mother sings now to another.
But as a Crone.
Maiden kindles Beltane’s fires;
Horned God’s passionate desires.
Bursting forth as they aspire
Two become One.
Peaking at start of Summer;
Goddess blooms in fertile wonder,
Basks' in his loving touches under
God as Sun.
Litha’s perfume full of Roses,
As the Goddess now exposes,
What the Wheel of Life Imposes
And though he knew.
Through golden days of Lugnassadh,
God obeyed the beckoning call;
To be a Father filled his all;
One into two.
Maiden nows becomes the Mother
At Mabon’s harvest God discovers.
His life he gives back to his lover;
For Karma’s due.
Samhain see’s the veil is thinning.
God passes through to new beginnings,
Goddess’s grief it seems is winning,
The cycles' through.
But Goddess Crone, Grandmother Spider;
Spun webs of life from deep inside her,
Sings out to Goddess that she'll guide her.
On New Wheel of Life
Just take the web of Grandmother Spider....
And merge God outside to inside her......
Don't give up now you are a fighter!
This very night...........
Goddess casts the web of Spider;
Casts it further, deeper, wider,
Till all of God’s light was inside her.
Full and bright!
