Being Crone, Am I invisable?

I was young once. I honored Crone!
Now that I'm Crone , I honor me too.
I don't wear a red feather in a purple hat. Instead I wear black robes with a red feather in my cap.
I feel the drum of my heart beat fast, dancing on the dunes, I don't feel sad....
I feel the sand under my bare feet. Mother Earth's Energy rising power all through me.
I look in the mirror the Crone looks back; How did that happen? Oh yes, Way too fast!
Now I dance more and more alone.
Avoided by the young; am I invisible because I grew old!?
Does no one see me? Does no one care?
I still have magick, I'm still here!
New to this area, trying to reach out; No one answers no eyes turn my way.

Author's Notes: I wrote this because so many women that have grown to be crone, like myself. Feel invisible in today's society. Most people look past us like we no longer are in existence.
I find too that even though we are supposed to honor Crone, we don't seem to honor women as they enter that stage of life.
I do dance alone, I honor the seasons and the moons, yet it is alone.
We are wisdom, we are wise women, through life lived. We are still here...we love, we laugh and we have more loss. But one thing we will never lose. Is our love of the Goddess. She sees us.
