WHY PIRATES DON’T DO TAXES
PIRATE PETE
A Pirate went to get the mail,
He returned with a government notice.
So Pirate Pete trimmed the sail,
And there he sat down in his office.
Say’s he, the Pirate, I think this is dumb,
The government seems rather rich.
They’ve certainly stolen a lot of our rum,
And it’s starting to make me itch.
Someone suggested he get some advice,
It might make all this nonsense stop.
But Pirate Pete dismissed that as nice,
But he’s still needs to stop all this slop.
Then next day came another letter,
They say now the feds want an audit.
But Pete wants something even better.
And he got rather angry and fought it.
Let’s have some more fun said the Pirate,
We’ll get rid of these government bores.
And let Old Pete play with his parrot,
And let him have fun with his whores.
So Pirate Pete never had to retreat,
And the letter is nowhere to be found.
The agent in charge has found his new place,
And it's buried quite deep in the ground.
