Different Or Same

A different language we speak
But the same things we knowingly seek
Our skin is different shades
But we walk in the same colorful parade
You are awake while I still sleep
Our dreams are the same and run so deep
You have confidence, I have desire
Together we are a great hope supplier
You grow minds and I grow gardens
A bright new future is in the margins
You worship Him and I pray to Her
All leading back to the One this I concur
You give your wisdom, I give my time
We all win when we share the sublime
You lower your brow and concentrate
I raise my brow and meditate
We both have a strong will to reach out
And isn’t that really what it’s all about.
