Merry Mabon

It’s that time of year
A day of balance a day of cheer
Time to reflect on all your innings
For endings are simply new beginnings
So gather your pumpkins, gather your vines
Let’s celebrate with some fine grape wine.
Time to relax and give thanks for our harvest
And take a long walk in the majestic forest
Look joyously on the experiences past
Savor the lessons and all that is asked
Count your blessings if the number reaches that high
It could all be gone in the blink of an eye.
The hazelnuts are strung with ribbons of gold
Offerings are given as prayers unfold
Lingering in the air the most sweetest of smells
Apple cider is brewing with a small simple spell
The nut bread is baking, the corn dolls are made
Merry Mabon to all, may your energies never fade.
