“If I told you that a flower bloomed in a dark room, would you trust it?” softly he laughed, gently he spoke; “you’re broken and I love your pieces”. “I love you”, she said. “That’s your opinion”, he responded. Together they sat in silence. There was a gleam in his eyes, remorse poured out hers, they both knew that things would never be the same. “Maybe.. In time.. These things take time”; he said as he saw her tears fall. She whispered in agony, “or maybe they won’t”. A soft smirk crossed his face, “meet me outside of your comfort zone”.
Author's Notes: Something that I felt motivated to write about a difficult time of my spirituality and my idea of what the winds were telling me to keep me strong.
