You are beautiful, incredible; more wonderful than you know.
Exceptional the way you glow; light up the shadows in my soul.
I wish that you could see yourself, the way that I see you.
Because then you never again would doubt yourself; and that's the honest truth.
It doesn't matter what you have or what mistakes you may have made.
Hope you never try to change the past; because its the reason you're this way.
So, I thank you for existing, I thank you for all you give to me.
My alter ego inspiration; when I'm too stubborn to see the best in me.
And before I end this poem, I just think you ought to know.
I'm always there, where you are; hope that fuels you to be strong.
Damn, and if you are my reflection; then I must be an angel.
A sinful angel, without a doubt; but, all the same an angel.
your rib cage is shattered, your soul is battered; suppose that's the cause of this rage filled cycle.
So when you need me then, to tuck you in; I'll also hold you till you break the cycle.
It hurts to feel, when there's a shard in your heel; so, let me pick up the remainder of the glass.
The only person you can rely on to sweep you off your feet; without dropping you on your ass.
When you feel like no one believes in you, don't fret; I always will.
You've put me through and through the motions; and regardless, I got you still.
So, when in doubt and when in need; I will offer my protection.
Find a mirror, come see me; I love you.
Love, your reflection.
