Chosen Maiden and Dragon Knight

by Lady Rain StarDragon (Teresa Garcia)
 Age Group: Adult

The winds quickly stir Her raven hair Gently away from Her skin so fair. Deepest sparkling eyes, blue of hue, Brightly glisten like morning dew.
In an empty meadow of soft sunlight Silently, She wishes all Her might. Within Her soul, desperately seek, Stretches for what She can not reach.
Tender woman, tragically fully grown, Duty tended, Her seeds were sown. Here and now, patiently She waits, As expectant breath fluttered, abates.
Woman who was once a Maid, In agony She mourns the fate stayed. Children captive taken, She is alone, Heart in prison, there t’was thrown.
Chosen Maiden and Dragon Knight, Together Forever, Love so Bright. Rescue the Children, Return us Home. Mother and Father, where do you Roam?
But what there from dark forest deep, Emerges brazen from His short sleep? Thick pearl’d Scale, night for Mane, Eyes of shale, the Oppressor’s Bane.
Spirit of Deep Forest, Spirit of Tree, Rustle and stir, Sad Reunion to see. Arrayed in robes of bark and leaf, Silent guards over friends’ deep grief.
Long it takes while acid tears are spent, He sees where Her skin is torn and rent. Growls pour from the Earth’s bowels, Winds fiercely howl woeful vowels.
Child she was, then His Sweet Maiden, It matters not that Her skin will raisin. She had become His Cherished Vessel, His Bone, His Sinew, His own Muscle.
Chosen Maiden and Dragon Knight, Together Forever, Love so Bright. Rescue the Children, Return us Home. Mother and Father, where do you Roam?
Waves of Healing, he used for Her, Spirits of Place, called, began to Stir. The Chosen One, who was violated, For Her their Rage will be sated.
Her Gentle Dragon, Protective Dragon, Larger than fourteen caravan wagons, Swept Her upon His thick, scaly back, Nostrils flaming like corporate smokestacks.
Into the bright golden noontime sun, His wings propelled them, shot from gun. Eyes ablaze, lightning crackled, The Bride grasping tightly his hackles.
The Castle Keep, stone and mortar, could not stay him at their border. Dragon Knight, Dragon Knight, Brought to them, his Rage and Blight.
Chosen Maiden and Dragon Knight, Together Forever, Love so Bright. Rescue the Children, Return us Home. Mother and Father, where do you Roam?
Fields he withered, crops he burned, His good graces, the occupants spurned, By stealing away his Precious Ones, His Blessed Children, His Beloved Sons.
In desperation, the Unenlightened fled, Behind they left the Dragon Bred. Alive, but bruised, towards the Father Ran His Blessed Children sorely bother’d.
It’s unknown where they now Hide, Perhaps near you the Dragon Clan Abides. So remember, My Beloved One, So remember, Dear Beloved One.
Take not that which is not your own, The Sons now are completely grown. Spirits will only tolerate so much, And then my Friend, you are lunch.
Chosen Maiden and Dragon Knight, Together Forever, Love so Bright. Rescue the Children, Return us Home. Mother and Father, where do you Roam?
Chosen Maiden and Dragon Knight, Together Forever, Love so Bright. Rescue the Children, Return us Home. Mother and Father, where do you Roam?
