Spring's Dance

Age Group: Adult
Today, today we celebrate.
For Spring is in the air.
Around and around the May Pole
dances Ladies fair.
The ribbons intertwine together
in hue of flower and vine.
For laughter and love shall fill the air
as long as the sun doth shine.
They skip and dance together,
in and out they weave.
While they work their subtle magic,
or so they believe.
A renewal of the Earth
and all that that entails.
They thank Her for Her bounty.
Her sights, Her sounds, Her smells.
So lift a glass and cheer with me
For Spring is in the air.
Around and around the May Pole
dances Ladies fair.
