Snow

by Kambrielle
 Age Group: Adult

How can something Be so beautiful, Yet so treacherous? At times it falls, Swirling and dancing, Like thousands of Little, white ballerinas. Other times it careens Towards the ground In big clumps To gather And cover The world in a white, Glittering blanket. But at other times it freezes, Danger to your car, Or danger to The tentative pedestrian. And the wind blows fiercely, And the snow becomes hard; My home looks like The Alaskan wasteland. Yet I am forced to trudge on Until the cold winter turns to spring, And gentle spring turns to blazing summer, Then I brace myself For the next winter to come.
