Solitary
by One solo witch
Age Group: Adult
I am solitary.
I am alone.
I am one small stone.
Time gathers her forces,
And I gather my sources!
The sea moves with lunar waves,
I shall not hide in spent youth's cave.
I know now what life is about..it is to savor.
It is to enjoy the good and, the unseemly flavor.
Linger not in what we've lost or missed,
Joyous flare and solar glare, ocean's sweetend mist.
Life is movement, acceptance, love, surge forward and abate.
Like the seasons we swirl around back to our begining state.
Do I, as they say, "We all die alone."I think not!
For as the tide sweeps me out, small pools of me are caught.
Do I not leave in my wake...
Love, joy, lessons, even some hate?
I take into me all these and so much more from others.
My womb, or seed, fathers, mothers, sisters or brothers
I am whole in my solitude, as I have given so, shall I have taken.
I am solitary.
