Questions for Hecate

How long have you been waiting for me Lady?
Standing silent at these lonely crossroads,
with only the black hounds for company.
Which direction did you see me coming Lady?
Your eyes see past, present and future,
which path was mine, even now I do not know.
Why could I not find you sooner Lady?
Not wandering lost but moving parallel,
a sideroad converging and leading here.
Was our meeting predestined or by chance Lady?
Finding you here was like coming home,
although the territory was unfamiliar.
Can I touch the power of your name Lady?
Shimmering and dancing within my soul,
filling me with colors I have never seen before.
Is this really my power that I am stepping into Lady?
Power only glimpsed until now,
it is through your grace that it flows in my veins.
May I say your name Lady?
Hecate, Goddess of Witches, Hecate, Dark Lady,
Hecate, I honor you at the sacred crossroads of my heart.
