Today I learned.......

by Cat
 Age Group: Adult

Every animal knows more than you do. Native American Proverb
All of the Lady's creatures have a message to share. It is up to us to listen, not only with our ears but with every fiber of our spirit. Cat
==========================
The creatures of the Goddess are all around us. It is such a joy to sit and watch them, it relaxes the mind and the spirit. If you have animal companions, simply having them near creates a feeling of comfort and companionship for both you and them. Watching animals in the wild gives us a feeling of exhilaration, touching something within our primal core. If you are atuned to the natural world we find ourselves able to draw upon what we see around us.
Therefore gaining greater understanding of the creatures that share our world and how we all relate to each other. Just like humans, animals come in all shapes and sizes and also like us, each creature has it's own story and wisdom to share. There is so much they can teach us and the connections that we make are important to both
Today I learned...
From the blue heron I learned that you must look at things from many perspectives, above, below and through murky water.
From the muskrat I learned that by balancing the worlds of air (intellect) and water (emotion) you create inner harmony.
From the chipmonk I learned that it always pays to speak your mind. Communication is a key factor which in the end pays off even if someone only throws you peanuts.
From the deer I learned that by just stopping to say hello, you might just make someones day.
From the songbirds I learned to sing. A simple song can make your spirit soar and your heart free.
From my cats I learned that sometimes a silent companion is the most helpful and a simple touch can bring the greatest joy.
What have you learned today?
