Race With The Wind

Come with me
Let us race with the wind
And nobody shall lose
Come with me
Let us race with the wind
And we shall learn how
To be as heavy as the sky
You be the eagle
I will be the hawk
And we shall glide the drafts
And soar the breeze
Not just martyrs of wind
But also lovers of wind
And friends of wind
And spirits of wind
Come with me
Let us become the wind
And stir the breath of life
And fill the lungs of humanity
Come with me
Let us become the wind
And restart the earth
when The Goddess bid so
The many words we will carry
And deliver to their destination
The many stories we will hear
And share as our own
We shall tickle the trees
And all life on the ground below
We shall scream silently
At the stupid humanity, so deaf
Come with me
Let us race with the wind
And nobody shall lose
Come with me
Let us race with the wind
And we shall learn how
To be as heavy as the sky
Author's Notes: I composed this poem in my head as I was biking. What happened was that I was biking so fast with the wind, which was blowing from the west and I felt like I was floating because I was enjoying the breeze and was biking so fast.
