Spiritual Evolution

The Earth in winter's Midnight
White is the light of the Little Sun
That of Inner Strength, the Warrior's Spirit.
Where Air births the Dawn of Spring
Union of Nature, the natural world revealed
The Light of Spirit
As the fire burns in Midday Summer
To experience passion of growth
The power of the Heart, the law of Love
Autumn twilight waters of the Womb of Life
Descension into to inner realm
Black is the journey into the Unknown
Grey is the time of Death
Center is the Heart
Uniting the Universe
True Spirit of Power
Author's Notes: This poem was submitted/copyrighted to Poetry.com in the fall of 2002 when I was personally experiencing my own Spiritual Evolution. It had brought me my first publication and a nomination for Poet of the Year 2002. As my own evolution continues I often look back to this time in reverence.
