Tears On My Pillow

“Tears on my Pillow”
“Tears on my Pillow” was a song from long ago,
When I was an innocent child
Oblivious to what those words really mean,
"Tears On My Pillow"
This morning those words rang true,
I woke with “Tears on my Pillow”
Over you,
Can’t shake your memory,
I am forever haunted,
You are in my mind, my body and my soul,
Every minute of every day you are there.
I can’t sleep, eat or move forward.
I need relief from this pain.
You are but a stain
On my soul,
To remove
How can I do this?
I resist!
I surrender,
I concede,
I bleed,
I cry Tears on my pillow over you!
I want to shed these tears,
I want to release you from my heart,
How can I stop these “Tears on my Pillow”
You are those tears on my pillow,
Forever
