Pure Destiny

“Pure Destiny”
This morning I packed all your belongings up,
I examined each one and remembered
the exact moment that you gave them to me,
You said “ they are safer here, than with me”,
Keep them for safe-keeping.
Who was that man that was the giver?
He does not exist any longer.
He is but a shell of man that I once knew,
Someone that was part of life and living
When did it all change?
When did your soul begin to die?
I find comfort in the fact that you are trying,
To make a new life, but will the old one ever
Release you from your darkness?
I think not. Running away never solved anything.
You take yourself with you !
So go beautiful man, find that amazing soul that I once knew
But do it for pure reasons,
Not to use or abuse..
For if you become pure again
Then you will find your true pure destiny!
Author's Notes: When you are ready to really release a loved one from your life you will know it.
