Into the Sunshine

Into the Sunshine

I walk toward to you,
You are looking at me with that smile,
Those dark eyes that penetrate my soul,
I have no fear, only trust in your ability
To be warm, gentle and ever knowing
My heart is still healing
My mind is very clear
But at this moment in time, I am still
lingering in the darkness of uncertainty.
I want to reach you,
My feet won't move
I am reaching out for you
but there is a cloud between my vision
It is telling me to take it real slow
Not too slow that you will not wait for me
but slowly and with good intention
"Do this the right way this time"
My angel tells me.
"You can do it the right way this time"
My soul tells me.
I am on the cusp of stepping up to that "perfect love"
It is only but a few footsteps away.
So, "perfect love", are you willing to wait for my arrival?
It is close, I can feel the clouds of uncertainty slowly diminishing
Into bright sunshine!
Author's Notes: There is a time, when all the darkness of confusion, uncertainty and a broken heart ends. When you recognize that time, Only sunshine shall enter your life!
