From Darkness to Enlightenment

I shall walk into the light,
To find that peace and tranquility that is ahead,
I shall not let darkness into my life again.
When you let darkness creep into your life,
You bring vunerability, pain, sadness and corruption
Vunerability toward your self-respect
Pain toward your willing heart
Sadness into your soul
And Corruption into your mind!
With darkness comes a suseptibility to not loving yourself
When you loose that love for yourself
You suffer beyond any imaginable pain
Always go back to lightness, to loving yourself,
It is the salvation for your mind, body and soul.
Author's Notes: I traveled into darkness for over a year of my life. When I found enlightenment again, I become a poet. These are my words following a very dark time in my life. I bring my voice to you, so that you can come out of the darkness and into enlightenment! Find that tiny ray of light and grab onto it and ride it until you too, are enlightened into a wonderful "light" world! Peace and happiness to everyone, thank you for reading my poetry I am honored!
